Equifind are working with a West End–based venture capital firm to hire a Fund Accountant.
The business backs ambitious founders across tech, healthcare and consumer, and has grown quickly to several hundred million in assets. With their newest and largest fund about to launch, this hire is seen as a key addition to strengthen the finance and operations function.
It’s a broad role within a small, fast-moving team, with exposure to senior stakeholders across the business – from investment partners through to portfolio founders and their finance teams.
This is a hands-on finance and fund operations role, focused on processes rather than technical accounting. It would suit someone organised, reliable, and comfortable managing multiple workflows.
Key deliverables:
- Maintain cashflow tracking, reconciliations, and finance schedules
- Support year-end audit and financial statement preparation, liaising with external auditors
- Coordinate capital calls, distributions, and investor documentation
- Assist with quarter-end processes and work closely with fund administrators
- Act as a point of contact for routine investor queries
- Support FCA filings and maintain compliance logs
Requirements:
- Studying towards ACCA or CIMA
- 2+ years’ experience in a finance role within financial services, ideally fund management
- Good grounding in journals and reconciliations
- Strong attention to detail and comfortable working with data
- Strong Excel skills
- Able to manage workload and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment
