£80,000 + Commission + Package
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Development Director to join a specialist HVAC & Facilities Management business, driving growth across Scotland and the North.
This is a senior, high-impact role where you will take ownership of the business development function, leading from the front to win new contracts and grow existing client relationships.
The Role
You will be responsible for shaping and delivering the company’s growth strategy, developing both new and existing business opportunities within the HVAC and FM sectors.
This is a client-facing role, requiring someone who is comfortable being out in the market, building relationships, and identifying opportunities to drive revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the business development strategy across Scotland and the North
- Grow existing client accounts while actively targeting new business opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
- Identify and secure new contracts within HVAC and FM services
- Oversee and manage the business development function and team
- Work closely with operational teams to ensure successful service delivery
- Represent the business at client meetings, networking events, and industry forums
- Monitor market trends and identify areas for growth

- Proven experience in a senior business development role within HVAC, FM, or building services
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems or the wider FM sector
- A track record of winning new business and growing accounts
- A proactive, driven individual who enjoys being client-facing
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to oversee and develop a department
- Commercially astute with excellent negotiation skills
