Principal Cloud Platform Architect – Investment Management – Contract – Inside IR35
I am seeking a skilled Cloud Architect with a strong focus on core cloud platforms, infrastructure, and security to join the Cloud Architecture Team of my investment management client.
As a Cloud Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions and ensuring the scalability, reliability, and security of the cloud platforms.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, develop cloud strategies, and drive the adoption of best practices in cloud computing. If you have a deep understanding of cloud technologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for building secure and scalable cloud architectures, we invite you to apply for this role.
The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need
- Experienced in architecting, engineering, and implementing cloud solutions on Azure and AWS.
- Experience relating to security across cloud infrastructure and services.
- Detailed knowledge of the infrastructure stack including Virtualisation, Kubernetes, Windows and Linux as well as Storage, Database and Networking
- Experience with modern DevOps tooling (e.g., GITHUB, Azure DevOps, Terraform, Azure ARM, Ansible).
- Familiarity with software development and software development practices (SDLC).
- Familiarity with modern engineering and agile practices as well as CI/CD.
- Passionate about building modern cloud services.
