A bit about the job:
You’lljoin our Security Engineering team asago toexpert for Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and the wider Microsoft 365 Defender/XDR suite.
Your work will shape how we protect Aviva’s devices and people — creating secure,resilientand scalable platform capabilities.
Thisisn’tan operational SOC role.It’shands-onengineering:managingthe platform, building automation, enhancing detection, and integrating modern tooling to strengthen our security posture.
You’ll help us spot threats earlier, respond faster and continuously improve how we defend our organisation.
Skills and experiencewe’relooking for:
- Strong experience in cybersecurity with a focus on endpoint security engineering.
- Deepexpertisein Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and the Microsoft 365 Defender/XDR suite.
- Handson policy deployment experience through Intune/MDM.
- Experience using KQL and building Custom Detections.
- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell,Bashor Python.

- Salary:Circa £72000(depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications).
