Financial Planning Analyst

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, and variance analysis
• Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets
• Analyse financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities
• Support business planning and strategic initiatives with data-driven insights
• Partner with operational teams to improve cost control and profitability
• Assist in cash flow forecasting and working capital management
• Produce KPI dashboards and performance metrics
• Support year-end processes and audit requirements

Requirements

• Proven experience in an FP&A, Finance Analyst, or similar role
• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
• Advanced Excel skills (essential)
• Experience with accounting/ERP systems
• Part-qualified or qualified (ACCA / CIMA / ACA)
• Experience within construction, compliance, or service-based industries
• Familiarity with Power BI or similar reporting tools
