IT Projects Engineer

We are looking for someone to join our Data Centre Engineering team to complete statutory and non-statutory maintenance to electrical systems including air con / cooling systems.

The individual will have a keen eye for detail and a pro‑active attitude towards their duties. Will have good communication skills, is able to work as part of a team as well as managing their own workload and time management.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete statutory and non‑statutory maintenance of critical electrical assets
• Respond to issues in an efficient manner to maintain business SLA’s
• Complete and document fault finding as part of root cause analysis
• Report and track issues via the appropriate management tool
• Keep management and other departments up to date at all times
• Promote and adhere to health and safety requirements
• Assist Operations and Security Staff as required

We are looking for

• 18th Edition
• HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
• Previous experience of working in a Facilities organisation within a critical environment
• Knowledge of High Voltage systems
• Knowledge of statutory maintenance legislation
• Requirements for Electrical Installations
• Initial and Periodic Electrical Inspection and Testing
• Fundamental Inspection, Testing and Initial Verification
• Refrigeration and Air‑conditioning
• Heating and Ventilating
• 33 days annual leave
• Contributory Pension Scheme (5% Employer, 5% Employee)
