QA Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to support quality assurance activities across multiple projects. This role will act as a key point of contact for quality‑related matters, ensuring compliance, driving improvements, and supporting the successful delivery of engineering programmes.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for quality issues across multiple projects
• Manage non‑conformances through the full lifecycle, including facilitating Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) processes
• Review and approve technical and quality documentation
• Participate in design reviews, providing quality input and oversight
• Contribute to bids and proposals from a quality perspective
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure adherence to quality standards and processes

Skills & Experience

• Proven ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks and projects while maintaining high attention to detail
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with confidence working across all levels—from shop floor to senior management
• Excellent decision‑making capability, with a proactive approach to ownership and accountability
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly
• High level of IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Demonstrable experience in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (essential)

Desirable Experience

• Experience with SAP Quality modules
• Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (e.g. ISO standards)
