Field Service Engineer – Epsom, Redhill, Woking

What You Will Do

  • Install and configure vehicle and people access solutions as a Field Service Technician.
  • Connect, commission and maintain SKIDATA equipment, IT hardware/software, network devices, EV charging and other access‑control devices.
  • Ensure solutions operate as specified while delivering reliable maintenance, repairs and top‑class customer service.
  • Escalate technical issues to the Technical Services Team and collaborate to resolve them.
  • Provide remote hardware and software training via Cornerstone software.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience installing, maintaining and troubleshooting IT hardware, software and basic electrical knowledge.
  • Experience operating and maintaining access devices, including firmware flashing (Linux) and software configuration.
  • Basic knowledge of network technology, TCP/IP protocols and troubleshooting of technical network problems.
  • Ability to work in car parks, stadia and construction environments and hold a valid UK driver’s licence.
  • Willingness to travel nationally, stay overnight where required, within a specified geographic area.
