Plumber & Heating Engineer / Installer

An excellent opportunity for a skilled plumbing and heating professional with installation and maintenance experience to join a growing organisation, with opportunities to upskill in renewable technologies.

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent

WORKING HOURS: 8.00 am to 5.00 pm Monday to Friday with a 60-minute break

Job Overview

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Plumber & Heating Engineer / Installer to join a forward-thinking organisation offering ongoing development and training in renewable technologies. As a Plumber & Heating Engineer / Installer you will carry out installation, servicing and maintenance of plumbing and heating systems across a variety of domestic and commercial settings, ensuring high standards of workmanship and customer service. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering reliable and efficient heating solutions while maintaining safety and compliance standards. You will also have the opportunity to expand your skillset into renewable systems, supporting long-term career progression within the organisation.

Duties

  • Install plumbing systems: carry out installation of pipework, fixtures, and heating systems.
  • Service and maintain equipment: perform routine servicing and maintenance of domestic and commercial heating systems.
  • Diagnose faults: identify and resolve plumbing and heating issues efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance: adhere to all health and safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Customer interaction: provide professional and courteous service to customers on-site.
  • System testing: test installations to ensure functionality and safety.
  • Documentation: complete job reports and maintain accurate records.
  • Support renewable projects: assist with installation and maintenance of renewable technologies where required.

Candidate Requirements

  • Relevant experience in plumbing and heating installation and maintenance.
  • Strong technical knowledge of domestic plumbing and heating systems.
  • Problem-solving skills: ability to diagnose and resolve technical faults.
  • Communication skills: good customer service and communication abilities.
  • Health and safety awareness: knowledge of safe working practices and compliance requirements.
  • Full driving licence required to travel between job locations.
  • Adaptability: willingness to learn and develop skills in renewable technologies.
