Job Overview
We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Plumber & Heating Engineer / Installer to join a forward-thinking organisation offering ongoing development and training in renewable technologies. As a Plumber & Heating Engineer / Installer you will carry out installation, servicing and maintenance of plumbing and heating systems across a variety of domestic and commercial settings, ensuring high standards of workmanship and customer service. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering reliable and efficient heating solutions while maintaining safety and compliance standards. You will also have the opportunity to expand your skillset into renewable systems, supporting long-term career progression within the organisation.
Duties
- Install plumbing systems: carry out installation of pipework, fixtures, and heating systems.
- Service and maintain equipment: perform routine servicing and maintenance of domestic and commercial heating systems.
- Diagnose faults: identify and resolve plumbing and heating issues efficiently.
- Ensure compliance: adhere to all health and safety regulations and industry standards.
- Customer interaction: provide professional and courteous service to customers on-site.
- System testing: test installations to ensure functionality and safety.
- Documentation: complete job reports and maintain accurate records.
- Support renewable projects: assist with installation and maintenance of renewable technologies where required.
Candidate Requirements
- Relevant experience in plumbing and heating installation and maintenance.
- Strong technical knowledge of domestic plumbing and heating systems.
- Problem-solving skills: ability to diagnose and resolve technical faults.
- Communication skills: good customer service and communication abilities.
- Health and safety awareness: knowledge of safe working practices and compliance requirements.
- Full driving licence required to travel between job locations.
- Adaptability: willingness to learn and develop skills in renewable technologies.
