A leading, top 100 UK law firm is seeking an ambitious Property Litigation Associate to join its highly regarded team in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a large, well‑established litigation department recognised by major legal directories and known for handling complex, high‑value disputes.

The Role

You will manage a diverse caseload of property litigation matters while supporting senior lawyers on more complex disputes. The role offers strong client exposure and the opportunity to play an active part in business development initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a varied caseload of property disputes including landlord and tenant matters, boundary disputes, lease renewals, and property damage claims
  • Supporting partners on complex and high‑value litigation
  • Drafting pleadings, witness statements, and settlement agreements
  • Representing clients in court, tribunals, and mediation
  • Conducting legal research and contributing to thought leadership (articles, blogs, training)
  • Maintaining case files, compliance, and financial management of matters

About You

  • Qualified Solicitor with approximately 3–6 years’ PQE (flexibility for exceptional candidates)
  • Strong experience in property litigation, ideally gained within a recognised practice
  • Excellent analytical, drafting, and advocacy skills
  • Confident managing your own caseload and working under pressure
  • Strong communicator with a client‑focused approach
  • Commercially aware with an interest in business development
