Job Description:

Overview

My client is a growing global leader in electronics distribution, supporting customers with product sourcing, traceability, electronic design, logistics, supply‑chain management, anti‑counterfeit testing and obsolescence management. They are seeking a proactive Project Manager to deliver customer projects on time, within scope and budget and act as the central communication point across internal teams and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Project Ownership & Delivery — Manage customer projects from onboarding to completion; review and understand customer briefs and translate them into internal execution plans; engage all relevant stakeholders at the correct stages; monitor timelines, identify risks and coordinate mitigations to ensure delivery; oversee milestones including demand loading, job creation, procurement progress and kitting readiness.
  • Customer Management — Serve as the primary customer contact throughout the project lifecycle; provide clear, structured and timely updates; track and ensure completion of customer requests.
  • Contract Review & Commercial Alignment — Lead contract reviews and ensure PO alignment; identify commercial risks and escalate when needed; help protect and optimise project gross profit.
  • Cross‑Functional Coordination — Work closely with Supply Chain, Operations, Sales and Quality; drive alignment, ensure accountability, and resolve issues.
  • Planning & Systems Management — Ensure accurate demand loading and job creation in the ERP system; monitor performance through order books, trial kitting and supply chain status; maintain project visibility and data integrity across systems.
  • Change Management & Issue Resolution — First point of contact for ECRs, BOM updates, RMAs and supply/delivery issues; coordinate teams to resolve issues and minimise disruption.
  • Process & Documentation — Document customer requirements including kitting instructions, CofC/FAIRS, traceability, and operational preferences; maintain clear and accessible project documentation.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 2 years’ project management experience.
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to interpret contracts.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Strong Excel, reporting and presentation skills.
