  • Lead and manage the Student Support Officer team, ensuring consistent, effective, and compassionate support for students across the Faculty.

  • Analyse and evaluate student feedback and engagement data—including student surveys, module evaluations, focus groups, league table metrics, student progression and student outcomes.
  • Provide high-quality insights and recommendations to Faculty leadership to guide decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Promote and facilitate access to extracurricular and co-curricular activities that build community and enhance learning.
  • Work collaboratively and proactively with academic and professional services colleagues to ensure a cohesive and student-centred approach.

About you

You will be an experienced higher-education professional with a strong understanding of student support, engagement, and enhancement practices.

You will bring:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience interpreting data to inform improvements.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach and the ability to drive change.
  • Experience managing people or teams within a student-facing environment.
  • A commitment to improving the student experience and promoting inclusivity, wellbeing, and academic success.
