Delivery Director

An opportunity has arisen for a Delivery Director to lead a high-profile NHS digital programme, focused on the delivery of large-scale online services within a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.

This role requires an experienced leader capable of operating at pace, managing significant commercial responsibility, and driving delivery across large, multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of a £10m+ per annum programme
• Manage and oversee delivery teams of 50+ individuals
• Operate within a high-pressure, complex NHS environment
• Drive programme governance, delivery assurance, and stakeholder alignment
• Engage with senior NHS stakeholders and suppliers
• Navigate and lead within a multi-supplier ecosystem
• Ensure successful delivery of digital / online services at scale

Experience Required

• Proven experience as a Delivery Director / Programme Director
• Strong background delivering within the NHS or wider public sector
• Experience managing large-scale (£10m+ per year) programmes
• Demonstrated leadership of teams of 50+
• Experience operating in complex, politically sensitive environments
• Resilient, confident personality able to challenge and drive outcomes
