Our client operates within a secure, data‑driven environment, delivering high‑performance analytics platforms at scale. They are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to support performance, scalability, and reliability testing across Power BI Fabric‑based solutions.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on large‑scale workloads and ensure critical data platforms perform optimally under real‑world conditions.
THE QA AUTOMATION ENGINEER ROLE
As a QA Automation Engineer, you will design, build, and execute Selenium‑based automation scripts to simulate high‑volume user interactions across Power BI Fabric environments.
You will play a key role in performance and capacity testing, modelling user behaviour at scale and validating system performance under both expected and peak loads.
You will also contribute to regression testing, framework development, and integration with performance testing tools to ensure robust and scalable testing processes.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver and UI automation frameworks
- Proven experience in performance, load, and stress testing
- Proficiency in Python or Java
- Experience with tools such as JMeter for performance testing
- Understanding of distributed execution, multi‑threading, and parallel testing
- Experience with REST API testing and validation
- Ability to design scalable, data‑driven automation frameworks
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Active SC Clearance
DESIRABLE SKILLS
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI or Fabric workloads
- Experience testing data visualisation or analytics platforms
- Exposure to cloud‑based environments
