Overview
Business Development Manager with an Estimating background now required to join one of the UK’s most prestigious structural steelwork contractors circa £20m business. They are looking for a “Technical Closer.” You will be the face of the business across London and the South East, targeting high‑value steelwork packages (Commercial, Infrastructure, and Energy).
Responsibilities
This role is about more than just finding leads; it involves using technical expertise to influence the pre‑tender stage and secure the right projects for their world‑class fabrication facility. The role demands that you engage with Tier 1 contractors, review complex drawings, and discuss value engineering, connection design, and site logistics.
Qualifications
- Estimating or Pre‑Construction background with experience in BQs and structural complexities.
- Proven project wins within the London and South‑East Main Contractor market.
Benefits
