Job description:
Clear Cut is a modern, service-led inventory company. We work with busy letting agents who rely on us to deliver reports that are clear, consistent, and right first time.
This role sits at the very end of that process.
Every report we produce passes through you before it reaches the client. You are the final check. The last pair of eyes. The person responsible for making sure everything leaving the business meets our standard.
What the role involves
- Reviewing and quality-checking all inspection reports before they are issued
- Ensuring client-specific rules and requirements are followed every time
- Spotting inconsistencies, missing detail, or anything that doesn’t meet our standard
- Making clear, practical amendments to reports where needed
- Working closely with inspectors and the office team to maintain consistency
- Helping improve internal processes and reporting standards over time
This is not a tick-box role. It requires judgement, focus, and real attention to detail.
Who this role is for
We are specifically looking for someone with experience in residential lettings property management.
You’ll likely be:
- A Property Manager who is fed up with constant firefighting and wants a more structured role
- Someone who understands what agents actually care about in a report
- Someone who notices when something isn’t quite right – and fixes it
If you’ve dealt with check-outs, deposit disputes, and landlord expectations, you’ll instinctively understand what good looks like here.
What matters most
- Exceptional attention to detail (non-negotiable)
- Strong written English and ability to refine reports clearly
- Good judgement – knowing what matters and what doesn’t
- A methodical, organised way of working
- A high level of accountability
- A customer-first mindset – everything we do is to make our clients’ lives easier
How we work
Everyone in the Clear Cut office is trained across multiple functions.
While your core role is quality control, you’ll also be trained on bookings and logistics, so you can support the wider team when needed.
We’re not siloed – we work together to keep things running smoothly.
What we offer
- £27,000 – £30,000 salary depending on experience
- A structured, professional working environment
- A role with real responsibility (without unnecessary hierarchy)
- Full training on our systems and reporting standards
- A growing business focused on doing things properly
Important
This is an office-based role in New Forest.
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in getting things right. If you rush, skim, or cut corners, this won’t be the right fit.
If you’re detail-driven, experienced in lettings, and want to play a key role in maintaining high standards – we’d love to hear from you.
