The Role

This role is an experienced Event Manager position in a fast-paced agency environment, delivering high-quality conferences, meetings, and events for a diverse client base. The portfolio spans leadership meetings, brand experiences, international conferences, and complex multi-day programmes.

The Event Manager requires an individual who thrives on managing multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining exceptional attention to detail while balancing deadlines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations.

The successful Event Manager will report to the Head of Events and work closely with the Operations Account Manager, supporting the development of event pitches and proposals, as well as leading the end-to-end delivery of confirmed projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of meetings, conferences and events from internal scoping and project kick off through to post-event reconciliation
  • Manage multiple event projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines, budgets and quality standards are consistently met
  • Work collaboratively with the Operations Account Manager from project scoping to support client accounts and ensure seamless project delivery
  • Contribute to the development of event pitches, proposals and client presentations where required
  • Lead venue sourcing, supplier contracting and event logistics planning for assigned projects
  • Manage event budgets, cost tracking and financial reconciliation, ensuring projects remain commercially controlled
  • Manage suppliers, venues and stakeholders throughout the event lifecycle, ensuring clear communication and alignment on timelines, expectations and deliverables
  • Produce clear event documentation including timelines, running orders, rooming lists and supplier briefing documents; oversee onsite event delivery ensuring seamless execution
  • Maintain strong client relationships and ensure high service standards
  • Lead post-event reporting, reconciliation and debrief processes, incorporating client feedback and key learnings
  • Take ownership of allocated projects, ensuring delivery meets client expectations, agency standards and commercial objectives

The Candidate

  • 3+ years’ experience within an events or experiential agency
  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Proven experience delivering corporate MICE conferences, meetings and events
  • Experience managing events end-to-end from brief through to delivery
  • Strong venue sourcing, supplier negotiation and logistics management experience
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environmentStrong budget management and financial reconciliation skills
  • Ability to remain calm, organised and solutions-focused in a fast-paced environment
