The Role In a Nutshell
This is a rare opportunity to sit at the crossroads of design, construction, and property operations for one of Edinburgh’s most exciting luxury development businesses. You’ll be the person keeping multiple live projects moving – from reviewing architectural drawings and negotiating commercial leases to managing supplier relationships and coordinating legal agreements. If you’re organised, proactive, and energised by working across creative and commercial agendas at the same time, this role was built for you.
The Business
Our client is a fast-growing property development business transforming some of Edinburgh’s most exceptional buildings into luxury serviced residences that blend design, hospitality, and the authentic feeling of living in a city rather than simply visiting it. With two live construction sites and a third set to launch in Q2, this business sits at the intersection of property, design, and construction in a way few companies do. They have ambitious growth plans, a strong sense of identity, and a clear belief that the best spaces come from people who care about what they build. This is a business creating something remarkable – and they want people who want to be part of that.
The Role
You’ll be the operational hub connecting design, construction, and property management – keeping multiple workstreams aligned and moving forward. From the moment a development is in motion, you’re involved: reviewing incoming architect drawings, building client schedules, managing supplier negotiations, and making sure legal agreements and utility changes are handled accurately and on time.
On any given week, you might be meeting prospective tenants to discuss lease terms, coordinating with overseas suppliers on materials pricing, reviewing a set of drawings with the design team, or working with legal to progress access agreements for a live site. It’s a genuinely varied role with real commercial weight – and the autonomy to get things done without having to wait for sign-off at every turn.
As the business grows its portfolio across Edinburgh, this role will grow with it.
