Overview

Nottinghamshire Health Informatics Service (NHIS) is seeking a motivated and confident individual to join our Technical Services team as an End User Device (EUD) Apprentice. This role offers an exciting opportunity to start a digital career while supporting over 13,000 users across nearly 800 sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work alongside End‑User Device Engineers to deliver technical and user support across hospitals, GP practices, and community services.
  • Assist in the build and commissioning of new and used equipment, including workstations, laptops, iOS devices, and printers.
  • Support patching and basic maintenance of network equipment under supervision.
  • Participate in training sessions under the direction of the EUC Service Support Manager/Team Leader.

Qualifications & Training

• Successful completion of a Level 3 Information Communication Technician course.

• Ability to work cooperatively with a technical support team and learn technical skills on the job.
