JRL Group is a highly successful, privately owned national construction group headquartered in North London. With continued growth across our specialist divisions, we are now looking to recruit a Transport Administrator to join our central Transport team based at our Borehamwood Head Office.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive administrator to support the day-to-day running of our in-house transport function within a fast‑paced and growing construction business.
THE ROLE
As a Transport Administrator, you will provide administrative support to the Transport team, helping to ensure the efficient coordination of vehicles, drivers, and transport‑related documentation across the Group.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Transport department
- Maintain and update transport records, databases, and spreadsheets
- Assist with vehicle and driver compliance documentation
- Liaise with drivers, site teams, and internal stakeholders
- Support scheduling, allocation, and tracking of vehicles
- Process transport-related paperwork accurately and efficiently
- Ensure company procedures and compliance standards are followed
- Assist with general office administration duties as required
Skills & Experience
- Previous administration experience essential; transport or logistics experience desirable
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Confident using Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office packages
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication skills with a professional telephone manner
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
