Overview
We are seeking to recruit an Operational Service Manager to join Eastbourne Neighbourhood Mental Health Team (NMHT).
Responsibilities
- Work effectively within a multidisciplinary setting, holding self and colleagues to account and demonstrating personal commitment to integrated leadership.
- Achieve agreed performance targets.
- Provide services within the agreed financial resources and achieve all financial targets, including cost‑efficiency savings, ensuring maximum value in terms of clinical and cost effectiveness.
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of service objectives.
- Respond to Serious Untoward Incidents (SUIs), complaints and communications, ensuring timely and thorough investigation, effective communication of recommendations, and closely monitoring actions to ensure they are fully implemented.
- Be part of the on‑call manager rota.
Qualifications
Candidates must demonstrate a wide range of clinical leadership experience and ability in operational community management, including service innovation, partnership working, managing change, recruitment, retention, and development of a workforce capable of delivering the highest quality care. A track record of service user/carer involvement and evidence of responsiveness to user and carer feedback is essential. You must be a registered mental health professional.
