Phoenix Flooring & Bedrooms is a friendly, independent flooring retailer located just off the Bromsgrove high street. We are proud to have been offering high-quality flooring products along with excellent customer service and professional installation for over 25 years.
At Phoenix, we are going through a growth phase and we are therefore looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Sales & Flooring Consultant to join our small, supportive team. This is a varied role combining showroom sales, customer home visits, and hands-on preparation of flooring materials.

Key Responsibilities
- Serving customers in our showroom and helping them choose suitable flooring
- Visiting customers’ homes to measure rooms and prepare quotations
- Measuring and cutting carpets and flooring materials
- Liaising with flooring installers to organise fitting schedules
- Ordering materials and checking deliveries
- Handling telephone and email enquiries
- Maintaining attractive showroom displays
- Assisting with deliveries when required
- Following health and safety procedures
Requirements
Essential:
- Full UK driving licence and access to own car (mileage paid)
- Experience within the flooring industry
- Good basic maths skills (for measuring rooms and calculating costs)
- Physically fit and able to handle heavy carpet rolls
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, organised and willing to learn
Desirable:
- Sales and retail experience – Full training will be provided for the right candidate.
