Project Manager

Job Title: Project Manager – 12 Month Contract (Possible Extension)

Location: Portsmouth

Duration: 12 months (extension possible)

Our client is looking for an experienced Project Manager with a background in the aerospace/defence industry and active SC Clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with ethics, governance, and health & safety standards
• Lead multi-functional teams to deliver projects on time, cost, and quality
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal & external stakeholders
• Develop project plans, define scope, and create work breakdown structures
• Manage risks, budgets, schedules, and resource planning effectively
• Provide clear, accurate, and timely project reporting
• Monitor performance, identify issues, and implement corrective actions
• Drive customer satisfaction and manage change requests

Key Requirements:

• Proven Project Management experience within aerospace/defence
• Active SC Clearance (essential)
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience managing budgets, risks, and complex schedules
• Ability to lead teams and resolve conflicts effectively
