I am looking for a co-founder (London-based) to help me build the vision for Legacy Compass.
Legacy Compass is deeply personal to me — it comes from my own experience of losing my parents.
I set it up to make sure that nobody faces the illness or loss of a loved one feeling alone, unequipped and lost.
More than anything, I want to build something that, amidst the darkness and pain, can support in transforming loss into a place for connection, upskilling, and personal change.
So far, we have:
– built an engaged community across the UK and Italy, of people and businesses that share our vision to transform how we build with loss,
– After 2 years of research and 229 interviews with people at different stages of loss, we have developed a behaviour-based approach to the challenges of loss.
– We tested our model through our physical conversational cards, our writing prompts, our online events and digital platform, gaining our first 30k in revenues over 2 years.
– We achieved our first 60k investment from Bethnal Green Ventures and a grant from UnLtd
But, to take it to the next level, I’m looking for a co-founder to own the Product side of the business
My skills are in the human side of the problem: I am a storyteller and a connector. I have built trust with stakeholders and business partners, while creating a trusted brand and an engaged community. Now, I’m looking for help to translate that into a scalable product and business.
Important things to note:
– I’m looking for a true partner here, and am willing to offer substantial equity in the business.
– I’m looking for somebody part-time, based in London (or willing to come and work in person once per week).
Things that might frustrate you:
– I’m a driven, opinionated founder. I communicate directly and move fast. This works well if you enjoy challenge and honesty.
– No budget right now — this is equity-based. We’ll figure out resources together (revenue, partnerships, etc.).
– We work around loss and illness — meaningful but emotionally heavy, while still moving at startup pace.

What we’re looking for
- 5+ years in product or service design
- Based in London (1 day/week in person — non-negotiable)
- 20–25 hours/week
- Experience in early-stage startups or unstructured environments
- Comfortable using no-code / low-code / AI tools (e.g. Figma, Webflow, Framer, Notion, Airtable, Replit, Lovable, AI agents, etc.)
- Curious and proactive about exploring new tools to build fast without heavy engineering
- Strong product thinking + ability to move from idea → execution
- Comfortable with ambiguity, pace, and iteration
- A positive attitude is key, as we work with loss and taboo topics
- Entrepreneurial, proactive, and honest communicator
- Cares about meaningful, human-centred work
- Experience in mental health/wellbeing / behavioural science is a plus
