Compliance Auditor

I’m currently recruiting for an experienced Compliance Auditor who can join a leading Food Manufacturer. The business is commutable from Grimsby, Scunthorpe & the surrounding areas.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive audits of various departments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Review and assess documentation, processes, and systems for adherence to quality assurance standards.
• Identify areas of non-compliance and recommend corrective actions to enhance operational efficiency.
• Prepare detailed audit reports summarising findings, recommendations, and follow-up actions.
• Collaborate with department heads to implement compliance improvements and monitor progress.
• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards that impact compliance practices.
• Provide training and support to staff on compliance-related matters and best practices.
• Conduct traceability audits and be confident to present findings.
• Complete gap analysis on customers’ codes of practice.

Requirements

• Proven experience in auditing or quality assurance roles is essential.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for reporting findings clearly.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• A proactive approach to problem‑solving with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Familiarity with compliance software tools is advantageous but not mandatory.
