Overview
This is an exciting time to work in Cambridgeshire South as we accelerate our Neighbourhood Health Programme, an ambitious, system-wide effort to redesign how care and support is delivered across our place. The Integrated Neighbourhoods Project Manager will provide transformation support and project management to develop Integrated Neighbourhoods and build relationships between organisations. The programme aims to co‑develop a Neighbourhood Health Service that supports people to stay well in their own communities.
We are looking for a Neighbourhood Project Manager to join our small innovative team for a maternity cover period of up to 12 months, offered as a secondment or fixed‑term contract in the South Cambridgeshire & Royston locality.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with partners and communities to align services and support, guide the formation of neighbourhood teams, recognise opportunities, and deliver change.
- Act as a relationship builder, connector, problem solver, and champion of neighbourhood ways of working during pressures and challenges.
- Provide transformation and project management expertise to build strong foundations for Neighbourhood Teams, tackle inequalities, and promote equality.
- Provide transformation support and project management for the Integrated Neighbourhoods programme of work.
- Review population health data and support public engagement to determine how local citizens want their care and support to improve.
- Support service redesign and delivery of projects within the Integrated Neighbourhood development team.
- Build relationships and bring partners and communities together to make positive change.
- Work closely with clinical leaders, the acute sector, community services, health commissioners, councils, voluntary and community organisations, and the public to support the development of the service design.
- Support the translation of a vision into a coherent operational model and project delivery.
- Facilitate partnerships across all partners and support cross‑organisational and cross‑boundary working.
Experience and Skills
We welcome applicants with a passion for system leadership, neighbourhood working, and community‑led approaches, and a compassion for people. We are particularly interested in anyone with experience supporting the health and wellbeing of children & young people and/or experience with mental health services and support.
Applicants should enjoy working with people, bring out the best in them, and have the confidence to work autonomously and opportunistically in a constantly evolving environment.
Working Arrangements
This is a short‑term position (up to 37.5 hours per week). Secondments (please seek manager permission before applying) and flexible or reduced‑hour proposals are welcome.
