Role: Project Manager (Data Centre Connectivity)

Salary: £65,000 – £75,000 + package

Employment type: Full time

Location: London, with travel as needed

This is for someone who’s moved beyond site delivery and is now genuinely running projects end-to-end.

You’ll be responsible for structured cabling and connectivity projects across data centre environments, owning delivery from early stages through to handover. It’s less about being on site day-to-day and more about making sure the whole job runs properly.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Managing projects end-to-end across data centre environments
• Owning programme, delivery, and coordination across multiple workstreams
• Managing engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors
• Acting as the main client interface for your projects
• Handling reporting, progress updates, and issue management
• Managing variations and supporting commercial delivery
• Identifying risks early and driving solutions

What You’ll Need

• Proven experience running data centre connectivity projects

Background in:

• Structured cabling (copper & fibre)
• Data centre environments
• Experience managing programme, delivery, and reporting
• Comfortable dealing with clients and multiple stakeholders
• Strong coordination and organisational skills

Nice to Have

• Exposure to hyperscale environments (AWS, Microsoft, Meta etc.)

The Reality

• You’ll have exposure to commercials but may still be developing full P&L ownership
• This is a delivery-led PM role rather than a true programme position
