POSITION
Sales Associate (part‑time 16 hrs to full‑time 40 hrs) – responsible for achieving sales and profit targets, reporting results to the Store Manager, and continuously improving service quality and store ambiance in line with corporate identity. The role is located at our Westfield store.
Key Accountabilities
- Customer satisfaction – provide outstanding service, create a positive experience, foster loyalty, and maintain a happy working environment.
- Demonstrate genuine desire to help customers.
- Establish and promote customer loyalty using company tools such as mailing lists and customer books.
- Provide extra information and go the extra mile to satisfy the customer.
- Offer alternatives when a product is not available.
- Handle complaints professionally by forwarding them to the manager.
- Product knowledge – maintain outstanding knowledge of product quality, trends, fabrics, terminology, garment care, styles, etc.
- Maximize the product’s potential to create sales.
- Drive sales – maintain good business knowledge to grow sales.
- Provide feedback to Store Manager about what is selling.
- Build a regular client base and be aware of best and slow sellers to improve sales.
- Maintain safety, security, and integrity – ensure all procedures are followed, aisles and stockrooms are safe, address unsafe behaviour, follow loss‑prevention procedures, and reduce shrink.
- Treat all associates and customers with respect.
PROFILE
- Minimum of 2 years of progressively retail experience in a luxury or contemporary brand.
- Extensive experience and ability to deliver a high level of customer service in a brand retailer.
- Communicate honestly, openly, and constructively.
- Contribute to an inclusive culture of diverse styles and talents working toward a clear purpose.
- Demonstrate flexibility and innovation in reacting to the changing business environment.
- Enjoy working with international clients.
- Proficient in English.
