Role Description:
We’re looking for an experienced Bid Writer to join a growing Business Development team, playing a key role in securing new business through high-quality, compelling tender submissions.
This role is ideal for someone who can translate complex information into clear, persuasive content and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Producing high-quality responses for bids, tenders, and proposals
- Creating clear, professional and technical documentation, including mobilisation strategies
- Ensuring all submissions are compliant, bespoke, and aligned with client requirements and corporate standards
- Collaborating with internal teams to develop tailored, client-focused submissions
- Managing multiple bids simultaneously, ensuring accuracy and deadlines are met
- Maintaining and improving bid content libraries and processes
- Supporting presentations and developing digital bid and sales content
- Using tools such as AI (e.g. ChatGPT, Copilot), Microsoft and Adobe software
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in bid, tender or proposal writing (FM or service sector desirable)
- Excellent written communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Advanced Microsoft Office & Adobe skills
- Experience with bid management software and client portals
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Comfortable using AI tools to enhance content creation
- Full UK driving licence
