About the role
Silvercrest is a family of nursing care homes in South Wales offering compassionate, person‑centred care for older adults. We are looking for a dedicated registered nurse to join our team, working 33 hours a week on a rotation of nights and days (three months each).
Responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality nursing care to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living, medication administration, wound care, and monitoring vital signs.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop personalised care plans for each resident, considering their unique medical, social and emotional needs.
- Establish strong rapport with residents, offering emotional support and addressing their concerns with empathy and respect.
- Regularly assess and document residents’ health status, identify changes or issues, and report them promptly to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain open communication with residents’ families to provide updates on their loved ones’ health and well‑being.
- Adhere to all regulatory standards, company policies and best practices to ensure the highest standard of care and safety.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with a passion for caring for older people and treating them with dignity and respect.
- Strong clinical and assessment skills, with a focus on person‑centred care.
- Energetic, motivated and caring individual.

- Proactive, adaptable and capable of maintaining a positive attitude, even in challenging situations.
