Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex backend systems.
- Collaborate with a small, experienced team.
- Develop and maintain applications using C# .NET Core.
- Contribute to the design of scalable, high‑performance systems handling large volumes of data.
- Build backend services and APIs to support web and mobile applications.
- Work on real‑time data processing and reporting and analytics platforms.
- Scope requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.
- Support integrations with third‑party systems such as CRM and finance platforms.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement of development practices.
- Gain exposure to modern technologies including cloud platforms, microservices, and containerisation.
Qualifications
- Commercial experience with C# .NET / .NET Core.
- Experience working on complex or data‑driven systems.
- Knowledge of LINQ and Entity Framework.
- Familiarity with Git and tools such as JIRA.
- Understanding of software development best practices and system design principles.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team.
Nice to Have (but not essential)
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
- Experience with APIs, microservices, or distributed systems.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or modern DevOps practices.
- Frontend experience (e.g., Angular).
- Experience working with large datasets or NoSQL databases.
- Exposure to Claude and AI.
