Responsibilities
- Adhering to company safety policies and procedures at all times.
- Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
- Approves in-process production by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production supervisor.
- Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work.
- Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarising re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database (IFS).
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
- Drives root cause corrective action and continuous improvement.
- Supports the development, implementation and training of policies and procedures.
- Co‑ordination of NCRs through to satisfactory closure.
- Co‑ordination of ISO documentation and procedures.
Other
- To adhere to CDE policy and practice.
- To carry out any other duties within reason and capability associated with this role.

Required Criteria
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Educated to GCSE level in Mathematics and English.
- Proven organisational skills with the ability to effectively plan, organise and control daily workload.
- Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Attentive to detail.
Desired Criteria
- Minimum 2 years’ experience of quality processes.
- Paint inspection experience.
- Technical qualification relevant to the role.
