About the role
As a Payroll Project Delivery Manager, you will be taking responsibility for planning and coordinating the smooth Payroll transfer between systems, teams and external providers. This role requires deep payroll operations expertise with structured project delivery, risk management and stakeholder relationship. You will act as the bridge between payroll impacting workstream and payroll operations.

Our client is currently looking for a new recruit in joining their Team please read on! You can also ask our friendly recruitment team any questions you may have about the role, between 8:30am-5:00pm Monday to Friday.
Shifts: Monday – Friday (37.5 hours per week)
The must haves:
- Significant experience in payroll operations, with strong payroll knowledge
- Experience leading payroll delivery within HRIS or payroll system implementations
- Strong understanding of payroll controls, compliance and operational risk management
- Experience in managing payroll through complex change (system migration, integration, TUPE)
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to operate confidently in a fast-pased and delivery-focused environment.

- A daily pay rate (inside IR35) through umbrella, up to £630.00 a day.
- This role provides a hybrid working access from the comforts of your own home and only going to our state-of-the-art office in Newbury- 2 days a week (occasional travel to Green park Reading)
