Production Assembly Operatives

Personnel Selection Recruitment are seeking hands on Production and Assembly Operatives to work for our established client in Newhaven.

Shift patterns available are AM: 06:55 am to 14:55 pm or PM: 14:45 pm to 22:45 pm. We are interested to hear from candidates that can do either one shift pattern or be happy to alternate each week.

Training offered to the right candidates; however you will need to meet the following requirements to be considered for the role:

• Previous Production / Assembly background preferred.
• Confident in the use of hand and small power tools.
• Previously operated machinery – Ideal but not essential.
• Able to work to instructions and diagrams.
• Strong eyesight and good attention to small details.
• Able to work at a fast pace when the requirement is needed.
• Happy to work in a manual role to include lifting and bending.
• Understanding of English language both written and verbal.
• Positive “can do” attitude.

Job Function

• Hands on assembly using hand tools and associated equipment.
• Operation of production machinery.
• Assembly of light plastic or electronic items.
• Inspecting quality of work produced.
• Labelling and packing items for dispatch.
