Are you experienced in project management, specifically within facilities or construction? We have a fantastic opportunity for a Project Manager to join our GCAP Integrated Enablers Team at Leonardo in Luton to work on Infrastructure Projects.
What You’ll Do As a Project Manager
- Support and manage multiple aspects of the planning, design, budget, refurbishment and installation processes for a full project lifecycle within existing facilities
- Take the lead on driving ideas and exploring options within a facilities or construction environment.
- Manage project performance and sub-contractors
- Manage Risk and identify project requirements and deficiencies
- Coordinates review of design documents and cost estimates
- Ensure adherence to project processes, procedures, construction legislation and safety guidelines
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in project management, preferably within facilities or construction
- Experience of implementing ideas and identifying improvements
- Proficiency in stakeholder engagement
- Willingness to travel within the UK to other sites or locations if or when required
It would be nice if you had
- A good working knowledge of building facilities, particularly Hard Services, Construction Design Management (CDM), its processes and implementation within the facilities and construction environments.
- Strong working knowledge of Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) stages and process steps within RIBA guidelines
Security Clearance
This role will require National Security Vetting to SC level. It is a requirement that the successful applicant will undergo, achieve, and maintain SC Clearance. A range of Personnel Security Controls referred to as National Security Vetting (NSV) will apply, this will include meeting the eligibility requirements for The Security Check (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV).
