Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Service Engineer, based in Home, Counties. The Service Engineer will be responsible for installation, testing, servicing and maintenance of systems related to assisted living, TECS and life safety equipment. Additional responsibilities include diagnosing technical issues, ensuring proper system functionality, providing technical support to clients and maintaining adherence to safety standards and regulations throughout all tasks.
Qualifications
- Strong technical skills in system installation, maintenance, and repair, particularly in fire and evacuation, assisted living and life safety equipment.
- Experience with troubleshooting, diagnostics and issue resolution in various technical systems.
- Knowledge of safety protocols, regulatory compliance and industry standards related to life safety equipment and systems.
- Good communication and customer service skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Attention to detail, problem‑solving abilities and a commitment to quality and safety in all tasks.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively and adapt to a dynamic work environment.
- Previous experience in housing and care markets or a related field is a plus.
