The Role (Dual Operations: Reception + Bar)

We are hiring a Guest Services Manager to take full ownership of Front Office and Bar operations at UNO Thames Hotel.

This is a hands-on, commercially driven leadership role responsible for delivering seamless guest journeys while maximising ancillary revenue through bar operations.

Key Responsibilities

Front Office (Core)

  • Lead Reception team and manage daily operations (check-in/out, billing, guest flow)
  • Own the end-to-end guest experience
  • Drive guest satisfaction scores and online reputation (Google / OTA reviews)
  • Resolve escalations quickly and professionally
  • Ensure strong coordination with Housekeeping & Maintenance for room readiness

Bar Operations (Revenue Focus)

  • Oversee daily bar service and standards
  • Drive bar revenue, upselling, and average spend per guest
  • Manage stock control, ordering, and wastage
  • Ensure service speed, presentation, and guest engagement
  • Work with management to deliver promotions and activation ideas
