The Role (Dual Operations: Reception + Bar)
We are hiring a Guest Services Manager to take full ownership of Front Office and Bar operations at UNO Thames Hotel.
This is a hands-on, commercially driven leadership role responsible for delivering seamless guest journeys while maximising ancillary revenue through bar operations.
Key Responsibilities
Front Office (Core)
- Lead Reception team and manage daily operations (check-in/out, billing, guest flow)
- Own the end-to-end guest experience
- Drive guest satisfaction scores and online reputation (Google / OTA reviews)
- Resolve escalations quickly and professionally
- Ensure strong coordination with Housekeeping & Maintenance for room readiness
Bar Operations (Revenue Focus)
- Oversee daily bar service and standards
- Drive bar revenue, upselling, and average spend per guest
- Manage stock control, ordering, and wastage
- Ensure service speed, presentation, and guest engagement
- Work with management to deliver promotions and activation ideas
