We’re looking for a Compliance Analyst (Privacy) to join our well‑established and successful Data Protection team. This is a full‑time, permanent role offering flexibility in ways of working and exposure to international operations across Europe.

Reporting to the Data Protection Officer, this role provides the opportunity to build hands‑on experience in privacy compliance within a regulated insurance environment, while working closely with Legal, Cyber and wider business teams.

Your new role

You’ll support the delivery of the Data Protection team’s objectives, providing practical privacy advice and helping maintain effective privacy frameworks across European Operations.

  • Supporting the interpretation and application of privacy laws and regulatory requirements across European Operations
  • Monitoring ongoing compliance with EO country and Lloyd’s privacy requirements
  • Assisting with the maintenance of privacy risk controls, governance documentation and records
  • Supporting the upkeep of Article 30 Records of Processing Activities
  • Helping manage data subject rights requests in line with statutory timeframes
  • Supporting Data Privacy Impact Assessments and other inbound privacy‑related requests
  • Assisting with privacy reporting, including contributions to management, board and committee packs
  • Helping ensure privacy notices, cookie banners and intranet content remain accurate and up to date

About you

You’re a strong communicator who can build effective relationships across the business, absorb new information quickly and apply it in a practical way. You’re comfortable working in a regulated environment and enjoy being part of a collaborative, solution‑focused team.

  • Experience in a privacy, compliance or risk role within a regulated organisation
  • Exposure to GDPR and data protection regulations
  • Background or experience within commercial insurance or financial services is highly desirable
  • An interest in emerging technologies, including the use of AI in business processes
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Confidence engaging with stakeholders at different levels
  • Ability to manage routine and administrative privacy activities effectively
  • A proactive approach to learning and professional development
