Quant Data Engineer – London OR Dublin – leading trading firm – exceptional comp & bens Our world-renowned client is looking to hire a Quant Data Engineer into a varied role at the intersection of technology, data science, and quantitative research.
As part of the Quant Engineering and Data team, you’ll sit closely with Researchers, Developers and Traders and collaborate on a range of technology projects including: Research enablement work related to trading activities, using a range of data science, analysis, and engineering skills. Writing, testing, and deploying Python code that creates new model features, analyses complex datasets, optimizes algorithms/quant code, and defines data orchestration. Partnering with researchers in the research development process, and take on coding tasks that optimise research project delivery.
2+ years professional experience in Python, including use of NumPy and other scientific libraries.~ A passion for working with data / dataframes and solving data-related challenges. Minimum bachelors degree in a STEM subject at a reputable academic institution.~ Attention to detail and ability to react to changing priorities.~ Experience working in a Linux environment.
