Job Title: HR Assistant
Location: City of London
Role: Full-time permanent role
Working Arrangement: Hybrid Working (3 days in office)
Salary: up to £40,000 per annum
The firm
Our client is a global law firm is known for its strong focus on technology, life sciences, and high‑growth industries, advising startups, investors, and established companies on corporate transactions, venture capital, IP, regulatory matters, and complex litigation.
The role
In your new role as a HR Assistant, you will be working in a team of 6 providing effective HR support to the firm. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Preparing offer letter and employment contracts.
- Coordinating orientation schedules for new joiners.
- Monitoring upcoming leavers to ensure timely termination in Workday.
- Updating employee records and maintaining databases.
- Organising meetings, interviews and training sessions.
- Managing email correspondence from HR inbox.
What do you need?
In order to be successful in this role you will need:
- Previous experience in an HR administration / assistant role at a law firm, ideally, or a professional services environment.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain working relationships with all relevant stakeholders.
- Familiarity with HR systems is desirable.
