Up to £83,000 + Performance Bonus (£99,600 OTE)

We are supporting a growing, high-quality care provider with an excellent reputation across the North of England and Wales, in the search for a Regional Operations Manager.

This is a key leadership role overseeing a portfolio of care homes, with responsibility for driving commercial performance, operational standards, and regulatory compliance across the region.

The Opportunity

Reporting into senior leadership, you will work closely with Home Managers across multiple sites, taking ownership of performance, supporting operational improvements, and ensuring each service delivers both outstanding care and strong financial results.

This is a highly visible, hands-on role requiring regular travel across the North West, including occasional overnight stays and on-call responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive financial performance and delivery of key commercial KPIs across the region
  • Support and challenge Home Managers to improve performance, occupancy, and quality
  • Monitor budgets and ensure services operate efficiently and sustainably
  • Lead on compliance, working closely with internal audit teams to address any issues
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to management teams across multiple sites
  • Support with recruitment, performance management, and HR-related matters
  • Step into Home Manager roles where required to ensure continuity of leadership
  • Foster a positive, high-performance culture across the region

Requirements

  • Proven experience operating at a multi-site level within older adults’ care
  • Strong commercial awareness with a track record of delivering against financial targets
  • In-depth knowledge of CQC regulations and care home legislation
  • Confident leadership style with the ability to influence and support senior teams
  • Willingness to travel regularly and stay away when required
  • Full UK driving licence
