Are you ready to take your next step into the world of Finance? We’re looking for a Junior Project Accountant to become part of our growing Finance Team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain real, hands-on experience in project or management accounting at our international creative practice.

You will work closely with experienced Project Accountants and creative project teams, gaining practical experience in financial controls, project performance, client billing, and forecasting. This role offers excellent learning and development opportunities in a supportive and collaborative environment, ideal for someone who is curious, detail-oriented, and keen to grow their finance skillset.

Key Responsibilities

Working alongside a Project Accountant, you will support projects across the Interior Design and Architecture divisions. Full training and ongoing support will be provided.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Learning how finance supports creative projects by working closely with Project Accountants, Project Runners, Studio Leads, and the wider Finance team
  • Assisting with the preparation of monthly client invoices and helping ensure billing is accurate and in line with agreed contracts
  • Maintaining clear and organised invoicing logs and project financial records
  • Supporting the preparation and updating of project fee forecasts
  • Helping to track project costs, resources, and budgets
  • Helping respond to internal and client billing questions in a professional way
  • Supporting credit control activities, including chasing overdue invoices with guidance from the Finance team
  • Ensuring project and financial documents are accurate, well organised, and compliant with internal procedures

Qualifications and Skills

  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related subject / or equivalent practice experience
  • Strong numerical skills and a logical, analytical mindset
  • A basic understanding of accounting principles (with the ambition to learn more)
  • Interest in project finance, commercial awareness, and how businesses operate
  • Good Excel skills and confidence working with numbers (advanced skills can be developed on the job)
  • Willingness to learn new systems and processes (experience with finance or ERP systems is a bonus, not a requirement)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail
