Summary

We are looking for a Data Project Manager to join our Business Intelligence team in a key role at the Regulator of Social Housing.

About the role

As the Data Project Manager, you will shape and maintain the regulator’s data collection and analytical outputs, ensuring effective and accurate delivery. You will ensure quality in our data collections and analytical outputs, including Official Statistics, by managing projects and overseeing the work of others within the team.

Working closely with colleagues across RSH, you will identify emerging data needs, capture requirements for amendments and additions to survey content, guide data quality improvements and minimise burden within and across our data collection suite. You will streamline and ensure replicability in testing and analysis, manage and develop a team to deliver robust tools and models, and provide technical expertise in data analysis pathways to improve analysis tools and outputs.

About you

You will demonstrate leadership and effective project management, lead system testing arrangements, and ensure successful delivery of our expanding suite of data collections, reporting and analytical products. You will also provide and maintain technical expertise in analysis, specifically working to improve data analysis pathways, ensuring quality and replicability in analysis tools and outputs. Additionally, you will be able to scope requirements and propose technical solutions, driving continual improvements in data collection and support processes.

The salary for this role is a spot salary within the given range, normally the minimum of the range, with annual salary reviews determined by the government pay award.

Location

This role can be based out of any of RSH’s core offices in Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham and Bristol. We operate a hybrid model of working with a mix of office and home working, and flexible arrangements are offered. The Manchester and Bristol offices will be relocating during 2026/27 but will remain within the city centre. Some travel within England between our offices and onsite visits to social housing providers may be required.
