Strategic Product Manager
London / contract / Negotiable
This role is a hybrid position, requiring 2 days a week onsite in London.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and run deep product discovery sessions to define the future-state operating model for campaign orchestration.
- Act as the strategic voice for the product domain, influencing senior stakeholders across Architecture, Engineering, and Business units.
- Partner with technical teams to define modular, API-driven, cloud-based platform capabilities.
- Conduct rigorous “Build vs. Buy” assessments; run RFI/RFP processes to determine if external vendors can accelerate the roadmap.
- Navigate a complex matrix environment, conducting stakeholder interviews to refine problem statements and metrics back to core business needs.
- Partner with Architecture and Engineering to define modular, API-driven, and cloud-based platform capabilities.
- Break down the overarching vision into prioritised features and epics for delivery teams to execute.
Experience
- Strategic Mindset: Comfortable challenging the status quo and questioning whether to build or not.
- Complex Environment Experience: Proven track record in large-scale technology transformations within large complex organisations.
- Strategic thinking: Ability to apply strategic product thinking as primary requirement.
- Commercial Acumen: Experience leading RFI/RFP processes and conducting market analysis.
- Senior Influence: Confidence to engage with senior business stakeholders and translate their needs into technical roadmaps.
- Technical Fluency: Strong understanding of APIs, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure.
