Location: Hanslope.

Join the FCDO Services Digital and Data technology team as a Lead Security Architect, steering architecture and security decisions during a period of significant innovation, cloud transformation, and AI advancements.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and security decisions across diverse departments and large programmes.
• Identify potential security information risks related to acquisition, implementation, and use of technologies.
• Recommend controls, conduct audit tests, and contribute to security policy development, SDLC, secure coding practices, risk assessments, governance requirements, and architecture for FCDO Services and its customers.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Security Information Risk Advisors, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
• Act as first responder to security breaches, providing prevention‑based solutions, guiding management, and promoting organizational security awareness.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of technical and security tools and techniques.
• IS‑related qualification at NVQ Level 6 or equivalent.
• Experience analysing proposals, technical documentation, designs, processes, and practices to identify cyber vulnerabilities and risks.
